1.1 The promoter is Willis Lane, owned and operated by Precinct Properties New Zealand Limited (Level 12, 188 Quay Street, Auckland Central, Auckland 1010, New Zealand) (“Promoter”).
2.1 Entry is open to New Zealand residents only.
2.2 The competition is aimed at children aged [insert age range, e.g. 3–12 years] (“Children”).
2.3 Each entry must be completed by a Child with the consent of their parent or legal guardian, and the parent or legal guardian must complete the parent/guardian section of the entry form. The parent or legal guardian must be 18 years or older.
2.4 Employees, directors and contractors of the Promoter and their immediate families, and any agencies or companies associated with this promotion, are ineligible to enter.
2.5 No purchase is necessary to enter this competition.
3.1 By completing and signing the parent/guardian section of the “Letter to Santa” entry form and submitting the entry, the parent or legal guardian:
a) confirms that they are the Child’s parent or legal guardian;
b) consents to the Child entering this competition and agrees to these Terms & Conditions; and
c) agrees to the Promoter contacting them using the details provided for the purposes of administering the competition and sending marketing communications (see clause 10).
4.1 The competition runs from 1 December 2025 until 21 December 2025 (“Promotion Period”).
4.2 Entries placed in the competition post box after the end of the Promotion Period will not be eligible.
4.3 These Terms & Conditions (including the Promotion Period and prize details) will not be changed once the competition has started, except where required by law.
5.1 During the Promotion Period, to enter the competition:
a) the Child must complete a “Letter to Santa” activity/entry sheet available at Willis Lane; and
b) the parent or legal guardian must complete all required details in the parent/guardian section of the entry form; and
c) the completed letter must be placed in the designated competition post box located at Willis Lane, Wellington.
5.2 One entry per Child. Multiple entries for the same Child may be disqualified at the Promoter’s discretion.
5.3 Entries that are incomplete, illegible, or do not include a fully completed parent/guardian section may be deemed invalid at the Promoter’s discretion.
5.4 The Promoter is not responsible for lost, damaged or misdirected entry forms.
6.1 There are five (5) prizes to be won.
6.2 Each prize consists of one (1) LEGO® Family Christmas Tree (set 41843) (“Prize”).
6.3 The approximate retail value of each Prize is NZD $549.99, with a total prize pool value of approximately NZD $2,749.95.
6.4 The Prize is not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash or credit.
6.5 If any Prize (or part of a Prize) becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control, the Promoter may substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
7.1 The five (5) winners will be selected by random draw from all valid entries received during the Promotion Period.
7.2 The draw will take place on 23 December 2025 (or as soon as reasonably practicable thereafter) at the offices of the Promoter or another location nominated by the Promoter.
7.3 Only entries where the form has been filled out in its entirety, including the parent/guardian section, will be eligible for the draw.
7.4 The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
8.1 The parent or legal guardian named on each winning entry will be contacted via email using the address provided on the entry form.
8.2 The Promoter will make at least two (2) reasonable attempts to contact each winner’s parent or legal guardian within five (5) business days of the draw.
8.3 If the Promoter is unable to contact a winner’s parent or legal guardian, the winner is found to be ineligible, or a Prize is not claimed within seven (7) days of the first contact attempt, the Promoter may conduct a further draw to select a replacement winner.
8.4 Prizes will be shipped by the Promoter to a New Zealand address only, as nominated by the winner’s parent or legal guardian.
8.5 Prizes will be dispatched within 20 business days of the winner confirming their postal address.
8.6 The Promoter is not responsible for any delays, loss or damage to a Prize in transit, to the extent permitted by law.
9.1 Physical “Letter to Santa” entry forms become the property of the Promoter once submitted and will not be returned.
9.2 [Optional – include if you want this] With the consent of the parent or legal guardian, the Promoter may use the Child’s letter (or excerpts from it) in marketing or promotional materials relating to Willis Lane, in print or digital form. Where used publicly, the Child will be referred to by first name and age only (e.g. “Sam, age 7”), unless otherwise agreed.
10.1 The Promoter collects personal information (including the Child’s first name and age, and the parent/legal guardian’s name and contact details) for the purposes of:
a) administering and running this competition (including verifying eligibility, conducting the draw and contacting winners); and
b) adding the parent or legal guardian’s details to the Willis Lane / Precinct Properties marketing database so they can receive news, updates and promotional emails.
10.2 By completing and signing the parent/guardian section of the entry form, the parent or legal guardian:
a) consents to the collection and use of their personal information and the Child’s information for the purposes set out in clause 10.1; and
b) agrees to receive marketing communications from the Promoter via email (and any other channels specified on the form).
10.3 The parent or legal guardian may opt out of marketing communications at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any email, or by contacting the Promoter directly.
10.4 Personal information will be handled in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, available at https://www.willislane.nz/privacy-policy, and in accordance with applicable New Zealand privacy and anti-spam laws.
10.5 The Promoter will retain personal information only for as long as is reasonably necessary for the purposes set out in these Terms & Conditions or as required by law.
11.1 The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and the identity and age of Children and parents/legal guardians.
11.2 The Promoter may disqualify any entry that:
a) does not comply with these Terms & Conditions;
b) is incomplete, illegible or fraudulent; or
c) involves any conduct that the Promoter considers to be inappropriate, misleading or unfair.
11.3 If the competition is unable to proceed as planned for any reason beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control (including but not limited to technical issues, vandalism, natural disaster, or public health restrictions), the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition, subject to any applicable laws.
11.4 To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter and its related companies, and their respective officers, employees and agents, are not liable for any loss, damage, personal injury or death suffered in connection with the competition or any Prize, except to the extent caused by their negligence.
11.5 Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to limit any rights that cannot be excluded under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or other applicable laws.
11.6 These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
